Both short and long pageant dresses are appropriate.

Competition Categories
  • Modeling: Judging criteria for Queens and Alternates based on dress selection, sense of style, grace, composure, beauty, and elegance. 
  • Photogenic (optional): Judging criteria for division winners based on expressiveness, visual appeal, quality of photo, lighting, age appropriateness.

Competition Categories

  • Interview: Judging criteria for Division Winner and Alternates based on personality, beauty, articulation, and creativity
  • Evening Gown: Judging criteria for Division Winner and Alternates based on gown, sense of style, grace, composure, beauty, and elegance. 
  • Photogenic (optional): Judging based on expressiveness, visual appeal, quality of photo, lighting, age appropriateness.

Additional Information


  • A queen and two alternates will be awarded in each division with 4 or more contestants. If only four contestants are in a division, then a queen and one alternate will be awarded.
  • One overall photogenic winner will be crowned for Baby Miss, Petite Miss, Tiny Miss, and Little Miss division. One overall photogenic winner will be crowned for Young Miss, Junior Miss and Miss Cahaba Lily will be crowned.
  • A stage walk-diagram will be provided in lieu of a pageant rehearsal. Contestants may also use their own choreographed walk. The stage will be available to contestants beginning two hours before the pageant begins.
  • Contestants will receive more pageant day information after registration closes on April 19, 2024.

Registration Options:

2. Download the registration packet and return with fees to West Blocton Town Hall Monday during business hours. (Make checks payable to the West Blocton Improvement Committee.)

3.Registration packets are also available for pick up at West Blocton Town Hall.

The following items are required for registration:

• Completed Contestant Information Form

• Signed Rules and Code of Conduct

• Signed Photo Release Form

• $55.00 Registration Fee (includes one optional photogenic entry and pass for one parent/guardian.)

• Photogenic Entry (Optional): $10 for each additional photo must be paid upon registration. Photos should be turned in on the day of the pageant. Photos should be 8x10 or 5X7, no frames please. All photos must be labeled with contestant’s name. Photos not labeled will not be accepted with contestant name and division.

You will not be considered registered unless you have submitted your completed registration form, signed contract, and registration fees by April 19, 2024.
