Dr. Larry Davenport
Professor of Biology, Samford UniversityDr. Davenport has enlightened and entertained the crowd each year with his presentation, "Romancing the Lilies." He is recognized by many as the foremost authority on the Cahaba Lily.

Dr. Brian Keener
Professor of Biological Sciences, University of West AlabamaBrian Keener specializes in plant taxonomy, systematics, floristics, and herbarium curation. He will be presenting the work that the University of West Alabama is doing at the new Cahaba Biodiversity Center located in Bibb County, Alabama.

Morning Program
The morning program includes vendors on the street, a children's play area, presentations by various environmental groups, and a lunch in the Cahaba Lily Center. Registration begins at 8 am and the morning program starts at 9:10 am. Keep checking this page for more details as they get finalized!

1:00 to 4:00 pm
Trips to the River
Afternoon activities will include shuttles to and from the Cahaba Lily Center, and canoes available for rent by the Cahaba River Society.
Unfortunately, the water level is high in the river and The Cahaba River Society will not have canoes available this year.

5:00 pm Until
Music On Main Street
Bring a chair and enjoy as mike Oakley and Misty Weems entertain us with a variety of music in front of the Lily Center. There is no charge for the event.
